1.How do I get the apartment key?
On the day of arrival, you will receive the key from 16:00 to 22:00 at our neighbor's restaurant Odore del Mare, Fördepromenade 1, 24944 Flensburg. In special cases we can also arrange an individual arrival time with you.
Please note that a security deposit of 100 € will be collected in cash upon collection of the keys. EC / credit card can not be accepted !! Please understand that the restaurant only takes over the keys for us - for problems or comments of any kind, we alone of the cubic meters GbR are responsible (fewo(at)ferienwohnung-flensburg-sonwik.de). The deposit will be refunded to you after checking the apartment and transferred to your account. For this we ask you to send us your account data incl. IBAN number by e-mail to fewo(at)ferienwohnung-flensburg-sonwik.de.
2. How do I get my deposit back?
The deposit will be refunded to you after checking the apartment and transferred to your account. For this we ask you to send us your account data incl. IBAN number by e-mail to fewo(at)ferienwohnung-flensburg-sonwik.de. We are happy to transfer your deposit via Paypal - just send us your PayPal address.
3. When can I move into the apartment?
Usually you have the option to move into the apartment from 16:00. In exceptional cases, we can also arrange an individual time - talk to us at fewo(at)ferienwohnung-flensburg-sonwik.de.
4. When do I have to check out?
You will usually have to move out of the apartment by 11:00 on the day of departure. In exceptional cases, but we can also arrange an individual time, talk to us like at fewo(at)ferienwohnung-flensburg-sonwik.de.
5. Where should I hand in the apartment key after my departure?
Please throw the apartment key after your check-out in the mailbox of the advertising agency Hochzwei- Fördepromenade 16-18 in Flensburg Sonwik. Or why not pop in for a moment – we’re here Monday to Thursday from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm and on Friday from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm.
6. Where can I park my car?
If you are staying in one of our holiday flats in Sonwik, we can provide you with a paid parking space on request and subject to availability. The cost is 15 euros per night. However, spaces are limited.
The “Große 73” holiday home cannot be reached directly by car, as it is situated in one of Flensburg’s historic courtyards. Please use public parking facilities.
The “See 11” holiday flat has a free parking space next to the property.
7. Do I have to bring bed linen?
No, your apartment awaits you with freshly made beds. We are happy to provide by arrangement bed linen for a baby travel bed - just contact us at fewo(at)ferienwohnung-flensburg-sonwik.de.
8. Do I have to bring towels?
We provide each guest with a large shower sheet and a towel. If you also need more towels or beach towels, you have to bring your own.
9. Is there W-LAN in my apartment?
Yes, we provide our holiday guests in each apartment with free Wi-Fi. The W-LAN key can be found in the accompanying brochure, which you received with your apartment key.
10. Can I bring my pet?
Pets are unfortunately not allowed in our apartments.
11. Who can I reach in emergencies?
In urgent emergencies around the apartment you can reach us at fewo(at)ferienwohnung-flensburg-sonwik.de or by phone +49 151-149 77 318.
From Monday to Thursday, you can also visit us in person between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm at the HOCHZWEI advertising agency, Fördepromenade 16–18, Flensburg Sonwik. On Fridays, we are in the office from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm.
12. Where can I dispose of my household waste?
The garbage cans of the apartments Fördepanorama and Seestern (Fördepromenade No. 20) are located directly behind the building.
13. How far are the holiday flats in Sonwik from the beach and the town centre?
Our holiday flats ‘Fördepanorama’, ‘Seestern’, ‘Sonnenschein’ and ‘Strandmuschel’ are each approximately 3.5 km from the bathing beach in Solitüde and from Flensburg town centre.
14. How long does it take by car from the ‘See 11’ accommodation on Lake Niehuuser to Flensburg city centre and the nearest beach?
The Hafenspitze in the heart of Flensburg is about 6 km from your holiday flat by the lake and can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. The beach at Wassersleben is about 3.5 km away, or around a 6-minute drive.
15. How far are the beaches from the ‘Große 73’ accommodation?
From the holiday home in Flensburg’s old town, the Ostseebad and Solitüde beaches are each about a 12-minute drive away.
16. Are there any restaurants or cafés within walking distance of the accommodation in Sonwik?
Yes, right in Sonwik you can choose between a restaurant serving Italian cuisine, the Odore del Mare, and the culinary offerings at the Hotel James. A 10- to 15-minute walk will take you to two Greek restaurants and a burger joint.
17. Are the holiday properties suitable for workations?
Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi in all our holiday flats and a pleasant atmosphere for productive work. If you’re planning a longer stay due to a major project on site, please feel free to contact us to discuss individual terms. With us, you can work where others go on holiday.
18. Are there electric vehicle charging points near the holiday accommodation?
There are charging points 500 metres from the holiday flats in Sonwik: Am Fördeufer 1, 24944 Flensburg.
If you’re staying at the ‘Große 73’ holiday home, there are several charging options in the immediate vicinity.
From the ‘See 11’ holiday flat, conveniently located charging points are about a 7-minute drive away in various directions.
19. Is there storage available for bicycles?
A storage room is available for the ‘Fördepanorama’, ‘Seestern’ and ‘Strandmuschel’ holiday flats.
For the “Sonnenschein” holiday flat, there is a bicycle cellar.
The “Große 73” holiday home in Flensburg’s old town has a lockable room where bicycles can be stored.
The “See 11” holiday accommodation does not have a separate storage facility for bicycles.
20. What additional costs (electricity, heating, final cleaning) are added to the rental price?
Electricity and heating costs are already included in the rental price. Added to this are the costs for the compulsory final cleaning and the linen pack, as well as the security deposit.
21. When is the deposit due?
For the holiday flats in Sonwik, the €100 deposit must be paid in cash on arrival.
For the holiday accommodation ‘See 11’ and ‘Große 73’, the €100 deposit must be paid in advance by bank transfer.
